After I apply the glue, I often cover the face with a plastic hat or something else to protect it from the sun. You can do this if you are worried about getting heat or dust from the sun. You can also use some Velcro to attach a hat or plastic sheet under the lace so that it does not get too hot.

5.      Trim the Lace:
